Crested Geckos

Once considered extinct, crested geckos were rediscovered in the early 1990's on the islands of New Caledonia. They are considered one of the easiest species of geckos to raise in captivity. Crested geckos thrive in small screen or glass cages and can live in pairs or trios (one male plus one or two females). Crested geckos are nocturnal and hide during the day among the plants in their cage. They happily feed on a special powered crested gecko diet blend and enjoy insects as treats.
